Laser shaft alignment is a very
effective way to maintain industrial rotating machinery. Misalignment occurs when the centerlines of rotation of two or more
machinery shafts are not in line with each other. Laser alignment adjusts machinery to within their design limits. This minimizes failure in bearings,
seals, couplings, and shafts.
The Reliability Services Group offers a Laser Shaft Alignment
Program that will:
- Minimize the amount of wear in the coupling component
- Reduce mechanical seal failure
- Lower vibration levels
- Minimize the amount of shaft bending
- Eliminate the possibility of shaft failure from fatigue
It is recommended that newly newly installed equipment anywhere
from 3 to 6 months after being put into service. Shaft alignment
procedures should be done on a regular basis to insure proper operation.
The Reliability Services Group will provide your company with a
detailed analysis on your machines operations and will advise you
on corrective actions for continued smooth operations.
