Vibration
Analysis is the process of monitoring the condition of equipment,
and the diagnosis of faults in equipment through the measurement
and analysis of vibration within that equipment. Typically, vibration
analysis is conducted through hand-held or permanently positioned
accelerometers placed on key measurement points on the equipment.
This type of analysis, is commonly used on most large items of rotating
equipment, such as turbines, pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, agitators,
etc.
Our staff includes a level III certified vibration engineer
and is capable of collecting vibration data from a site specific
location and analyzing any exception faults in the equipment. A
condition and recommendations report are detailed for each exception.
The vibration data can reveal many condition faults such as rotor
imbalance, misalignment, loose conditions, bearing deterioration
and others.
Comprehensive
Rolling Element Bearing Condition
By using the Patented SPM (Shock Pulse Method) and ISO Vibration Standards,
our vibration technicians can determine lubrication condition, bearing defect condition and overall vibration condition. No other condition monitoring system can isolate rolling element bearing condition as easily and consistently as SPM.
